"Stop censoring your actions. Be you—the only you there is. No one else is qualified for the job. Have fun, have a sense of humor and have a million laughs. Be an optimist; be the person you were as a child. Do something new, exciting and different. Look at life from a different point of view. Get curious; ask a trillion questions and experience the joy in looking for the answers. Make new friends and cherish the old (some are silver and the others gold). Invite creativity to become as much a part of the fabric of your daily life as your everyday routines like making the bed, cooking meals, cleaning the house and caring for the people you love. Look at these everyday, seemingly mundane tasks and see where you can infuse them with spirit, individuality and fun."

Lots of Pictures!

Hey There! Hi There! Ho There! It's been a long while since I've written anything.
SLACKER
haha. My bad, but I doubt anyone really noticed so no biggie.

Since I last wrote (Valentines/St. Patrick's Day) I have sent many more care packages to my husband, work, a lot of times with family/friends, I got a new kitten, and had a dental appointment. Not a lot of interesting things but things to keep me occupied.

Back in February there was a benefit dinner for the surviving soldier from the Unit, a taco dinner. My awesome friend Dan went with me, the place was packed, we waited to get inside for 20 minutes, waiting 45 minutes in line to get a dinner in the smallest VFW I've ever seen! Haha, it was pretty nuts. I wonder if they knew they would get such a big turn out or not? When we finally got our dinner, we had to stand and eat then I gave my donation and we left. It was way crowded, excellent turnout, I hope they made a lot of money for the family!

Before Valentines Day I got a package from my sweet husband, a beautiful bracelet.
Hmmm... what a bad quality picture, sorry! Also on Valentines Day I also received an Edible Arrangement! I've always wanted one and it was SO pretty and tasty!
I very much enjoyed them and loved them! Thank you dear husband for thinking of me!

Hmm... I've been hanging out with my family and friends a lot.
My husbands work has had some pretty fun holiday parties,
my best friend and I had a blast! Here is us at the Annual Beach Party!

Then there was the St. Patrick's Day Party!
Hmmm.... I guess I don't have any with my best friend!
BAM! Found one haha.

Then on March 19th I got a new kitten! Everyone, meet Amos!

He is pretty sweet! We have been best buds now for a little over two weeks, I love him!
10 points if you can tell me where I got the name Amos! (HINT: not famous)

He is  ridiculous haha. I am happy for my new friend, Thank you PjS for him!
I cannot wait for Pat and Amos to meet!

I'm not sure what else to update anyone on. OH, I went to the dentist for a toothache. Of course the day before my appointment my toothache went away haha. But turns out the root canal I had in 2007 now had an infection inside of it. SO I went to another dentist who specializes in root canal infections. So eh... the first appointment, which I thought was a real appointment was just a consultation that costs $95 - WTF!? I was also in the waiting room for over an hour until I even got into the chair. So a few days ago I went for my real appointment, afterwards my mouth was crooked and I had a swollen face. It was pretty awesome actually haha. I have 2 more appointments until everything is finished... What a pain in the ass.

Well, that should be update enough! Everyone have a Happy Easter! Enjoy!

(p.s. my hair is still awesome... here are some pictures haha)

Valentine's Day is Upon Us!

While in the process of decorating my Valentines Day care package my husband mentioned he wanted some Sweetheart candies. He wasn't sure if they were sweethearts (the chalky little candies) or if he wanted the Sweet Tart candies, so I purchased both! Then I bought Airheads, wrote something special on all the cards, placed them back into the box, along with Cheez-It's, another favorite snack! He also wanted a pair of his comfy shorts so I added those, along with some more air fresheners for his room, a stuffed animal (a wolf!), along with a letter from his best friend, a valentines card from me, and an envelope full of pictures. I think he will LOVE it!

Also this is my craftiest box I've made! I am so excited! It came out better than I imagined AND I got more ideas for more holiday themed boxes for future packages. I am very proud of this one! I think this is way better than the "Movie Night" package I sent previously, I forgot to take pictures of that one... bummer. Anyways, what did you send in your recent or Valentines care packages? Any ideas for future packages?

Do you know the STRENGTH of an Army family? For all of you who wake up in the morning, lay there for a few moments trying to swallow the sick feeling in the pit of your stomach as you wonder where your Soldier is, or how he/she is doing: this is for you. For all of you who start a countdown the minute your Soldier leaves, and continue until he/she is back in your arms again: this is for you. For all of you who tear up every time “Far Away” comes on the radio, or who press repeat when “Come Home Soon” plays in the car: this one’s for you. For all of you who see Army billboards, ads in the paper, or commercials on T.V. and next notice the tears rolling down your cheeks: this is for you. I am one of you too. This is for us. For all the times we sleep with our phones on the loudest possible volume, just as to not miss the call that just MIGHT come. For all the times we hear our Soldier’s name mentioned out loud, and are momentarily frozen in a trance, in love. For all the late nights that we spend alone cuddling with our stuffed animals, wearing our Soldier’s Army sweatshirts and sweatpants, and clutching the precious dog tags around our necks: this one’s for us. We may feel weak on the inside, but on the outside we are strong. We may be drowning in tears on the inside but on the outside we are a rock. We may want to crawl in bed and sleep until our Soldier comes home, but instead we get up and go on with our daily lives with our Soldier in our hearts. We may feel like we’re slowly dying with each day we spend apart from our Soldier, but instead we put one foot in front of the other, and take each day as it comes. We surprise ourselves at just how STRONG we can be. (ARMY STRONG HOOAH!) We are strong and we are proud. We have more love in our hearts than we ever thought possible, and for this we are thankful. We are thankful for our Soldiers and also for each other. We are Army families, and we lean on each other. We help each other and we survive. To all of you ARMY families out there, hold your head up and be PROUD. We are connected, ALWAYS.
Who are you proud of?
